Our project manager, Travis Clark, made our experience during this remodel so great. His efficiency, knowledge, and professionalism were off the charts. He set reasonable expectations for our timeline and was able to complete our project early which we could not believe. Having all the crew in house and not subcontracted made the biggest difference. Workers were here everyday and knew exactly what to do and Travis was here almost everyday to oversee every step. We will be using Travis again in the future and recommend him to all our friends and family who have been scared to start construction projects due to previous bad experiences. We had the best experience with John Christopher Construction, Inc. Our project manager Travis Clarke and all the other crew members who worked on our house surpassed our expectations. People always say construction projects are a nightmare but ours truly was smooth sailing. Travis was in communication with me daily and there was always someone here working. We had no delays, set backs or hiccups. On my end I made sure to have all my interior design decisions ready for Travis and his team to execute so they were not waiting on me to get things done. We were fortunate enough to have our remodel done ahead of schedule and still can’t believe that this is the house we live in. It feels like a dream. John Christopher Construction built an ADU to my exact specifications, worked with me on a daily basis, and brought the project to completion in the budget allotted. Ours was not an easy build due to the fact that we had to excavate quite a bit as the ADU was build in to a hillside and near a slope to the rear of my property. If I had to focus on one thing, it would without question be communication. I was assigned a job foreman who guided me through the entire process, listened to my needs, provided me feedback, and helped me along the way with all the little changes that arose during the build. We made a few changes along the way and we were given clear communication of the requested change, as well as a fixed price for the change. The use of sub contractors is a part of any build and each of the contractors selected were respectful of my property and my neighbors, did an above average job, and were a compliment to John Christopers team. I would advise anyone considering an accessory dwelling unit to choose this contractor for the project. We spent a lot of time selecting the right contractor and were even led astray by a few. I can honestly say from my perspective, there’s no-one better suited to build a detached ADU than John Christopher Construction. Before choosing John Christopher, we viewed several of their builds in process as well as spoke to some of their employees and customers. We would be happy to host potential customers as the pictures I am attaching to the review don’t even come close to doing the ADU credit.

John and Kyle did an amazing job on our store remodel project! They completed the work on time, they were creative with their problem solving and they were always communicative. During the kitchen remodeling, the team moved my electrical outlet forward without me asking and informed me that it would be better use as the outlet was blocked. That was very professional and thoughtful use that I didn’t even think of. The team left the work area clean when finished and turned out better than I expected.
