Fantastic work on a tenant improvement for our escape room in Tustin. This was my first time starting a business, and everyone warned me about how rough the construction process would be, so I was braced for the worst. But… John was fantastic! Working with him and his crew was the best part of the process. He paid attention to details about what I asked for, helped me with value engineering, prepared a very detailed and competitive bid, was accommodating on contract terms and timelines, delivered early, and passed most inspections on the first shot. Were there change orders? Yes, but they were all reasonable, and John was great at communicating beforehand about anything big. Did everything go perfectly? Of course not, but any mistakes John took care of.

After having negative experiences with other contractors in the past, I’m pleased to say I now have a reliable contractor that I can count on for any future repairs or remodels. My husband and I contracted with John Christopher Construction to do a complete remodel of our kitchen. We were told in the beginning the project would take approximately 4 months to complete and they were true to their word! We worked primarily with Chris and found him to be professional, knowledgeable, honest and always responsive. They had their crews in and out of our home almost on a daily basis and they were all professional, polite and very good at their various trades. They always took care to avoiddamage to other areas of the house when bringing materials in and taking old materials out. They always cleaned up after themselves after a days work. After years of speaking about it, My husband and I finally settled to renovate our Garage into an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). We initially went with my husband’s “work friend,” who is cheap and fast. Still, after a week of working for us, I came down to the decision to let him go of the lack of communication and responsibility, so I proceeded onwards and took manners into my own hands. I looked online and settled on John Christopher Construction, as they had a satisfactory history. I told them I had a specific time frame to finish, and they surpassed it with flying colors! Also, Zachary was so accommodating and experienced in helping me pick out the perfect layout for my garage, and it came out better than I could think of. When our tenants left, the house was a complete disaster. John Frize assisted us in coming up with a whole interior house remodel at a reasonable cost. The cabinets were painted inside and out, new appliances including stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washer, dryer, software system, and osmosis system were installed. New sinks, counter tops, faucets, medicine cabinets, ceiling fans, window coverings, flooring, and base boards were installed. John and his crew removed all the old appliances and other rubbish. As you can see from the pictures, the house turned out amazing! John and his crew were easy to work with and accommodated our short two week time frame to have all the work completed. We highly recommend John Christopher Construction, and we will use them again on other projects.
